Fishing

Our fishing lakes, park, and accommodation have been designed by a team who have a shared passion for one of the UK’s finest pastimes - fishing.

Here at Wold View in Lincolnshire, the area benefits from the open countryside with wooded sections, here wildlife comes into its own and this is reflected in our park.

The perfect balance of nature provides the ideal environment to simultaneously enjoy renting a fishing lodge in the UK and have a relaxing break.

Our spacious touring park is well positioned between silver and gold lakes, making it an ideal place to be on the park, if your looking to fish from your doorstep!

Each of our seven lakes is well-established and abundantly stocked with a variety of species, ready for your pleasure. Every lake is stocked with a diverse variety of fish, including but not limited to Barbel, Mirror Carp, Common & Crucian Carp, Tench, Roach, Rudd, Eyd, Perch, Bream, Skimmers and F1.

We have made sure each lake is uniquely landscaped and well laid out to keep a degree of seclusion for every person fishing. The pegs are well-spaced to consider privacy with a variation of 9–12 meters between each.

Many of our fishing lakes are accessible for wheelchair users, although some are more ideal, with parking close by unless stated.

We gave our complex an overhaul in 2021-2022 to provide outstanding facilities, including extending some of our smaller lakes, adding new luxury lodges for rent or ownership, the installation of a 22 plot lakeside touring park, building smoother roads, and more convenient lake side car parks.

We also extended some lakes to provide extra fishing room. We operate a fully inclusive policy and encourage groups to use our lakes for competitions, with most lakes suitable for exclusive use for this purpose.

Gold

The biggest of our seven fishing lakes and ideal for groups, or solo fishing. The 41 well-spaced pegs are dotted around the lake at 12 metres intervals, and the lake is well-established and well-stocked. Gold has an island that has a purpose-built bridge big enough for a trolley. Perfect for all levels and ability of fishing.

Bronze

A tranquil lake with carp up to 20lb, that has space for two anglers to fish rods. Soak up the peacefulness of this lake as you fish for the plentiful stocks. The 19 pegs are spaced 9 metres apart and we consider the accessibility here as ‘not easy’.

Island

This is the perfect lake for beginner and seasoned anglers looking for a more intimate experience, able to utilise the island feature. This 18 pegs fishing lake is popular with young anglers and families as it has a great degree of tranquility. It’s easy to see why we chose this as the setting for our lodge plots. There are various species of fish in this lake, especially F1, carp and bream, with a few surprise fish! This lake benefits from two dedicated pegs for wheelchair users.

Ruby Lake

The newest addition to our complex, Ruby Lake provides the perfect backdrop to our luxury lodges. It’s peaceful and tranquil, like our other fishing lakes, and well-stocked with large perch, carp, and silvers. It has 24 pegs evenly spaced and is accessible with car parking nearby. Speak to a member of our club team to enquire about renting or owning one of the luxury lodges nearby.

Silver

The second largest fishing lake in our park, the 37 pegs are spaced 9 metres apart. Silver lake is perfect for all fishing abilities and is easily accessible for wheelchair users, with ideal space on the lakeside.

Ultimate

A perfect lake for visiting anglers, and the island is a huge draw for float and waggler anglers, although the pole can produce good bags. This lake has 24 pegs spaced 9 metres apart and is stocked with a variety of species, including a large amount of tench. Accessibility is moderate and there is parking nearby.

Canal

The biggest of our seven fishing lakes and ideal for groups, or solo fishing. The 41 well-spaced pegs are dotted around the lake at 12 metres intervals, and the lake is well-established and well-stocked.
